Established in 1988

Our primary focus is to maintain a high quality of service at all levels. Growth brought about a full installation department enabling HVAC Services to become competitive as a full service mechanical contractor.

HVAC Services was founded in 1988 by Robert Mitchell with a focus on service. Soon after, Rob saw the opportunity to expand into the installation arena.

1997

HVAC moved to a new 6,000 SF office that included a fabrication shop. Sheet metal and fabrication machinery supported the continued growth of the installation team.

2003

That shop area was expanded further to make room for the custom, spiral pipe fabrication. Since HVAC began producing their spiral pipe, it has been installed in many commercial jobs in the southern Maine region. Many contractors choose to work with HVAC for the beautiful look this product offers to any project.

2008

The shop was expanded again to complete the fabrication shop’s ability to create any custom metal parts needed for jobs.

2017

HVAC Services became Employee Owned. Now all employees can share in the profit and growth of the company. This is an example of how this small business has grown into a great place to work for all employees, no matter what your position is here.

These additions have allowed HVAC to be competitive, efficient, and maintain higher profit margins. This allows HVAC to offer extremely competitive benefits to employees and realize strong stock growth year over year.

Today, HVAC continues to be a leader in Service and Installation of commercial HVAC systems and maintaining a small, team-based culture.
